Select Team Leaders

One of the best ways to drive engagement during the challenge is to pick a leader for each team. Leaders can help recruit signups to their team and rally excitement.

Send Intro Email

Send an email to your team that introduces the Active For Good concept and how participants can join (Good to send 2 weeks before the start date). We’ve included content for the intro email, a reminder email and some short blurbs to use as needed. Download Content Below >

All Hands Call/Meeting

Many groups/companies will have an all-hands call or company-wide meeting where they announce the upcoming challenge. We’ve provided some talking points so you can speak knowledgeably about Active For Good. Download Talking Points >

Print Challenge Posters

These can be printed out and put up around the office to generate some excitement. Download Posters >

Share Active For Good Website

Our home page does a good job of explaining a challenge and also has links to the free app (Android and iOS). You can share ActiveForGood.com along with your event code on any of the channels you use to communicate with your group (social media etc). You can also use our overview video to explain the challenge: Watch here.

Automated Email & App Messaging Campaign

Don’t worry; this one is on us! Participants will receive messages from our system (via email and in-app) that help tell the story of Active For Good as the challenge progresses. Messages include event-based triggers like; “You’ve Unlocked Your First Packet” and “Your Challenge Has Saved A Life!” Messages also include information on what is RUTF, what is SAM, etc. It’s all automated, so you won’t need to worry about keeping folks engaged.

Weekly Recognition/Awards

Many groups and companies like to do weekly awards or recognition such as: Most Improved (individual/team), Highest Burner (individual/team), New leaders (new team or new individual at #1 position on the leaderboard).

Some reward ideas: Amazon gift cards, Starbucks gift cards, extra long lunch on Friday, healthy team lunch for the highest burning team.
