In many ways, this video started the journey that eventually led to Active For Good. Inspired by the life-saving solution presented in this story Mark Moore began raising funds to build a production facility in Georgia (peanut country) in 2009. Today, MANA Nutrition ships over 500,000 packets of RUTF per day through partners like UNICEF, USAID, Save the Children, World Vision, and Doctors Without Borders.
With the factory up and running we were dreaming about ways to bridge the global funding gap for RUTF and raise more resources to produce more of this revolutionary intervention. The idea of getting active to unlock impact begin to blossom at Unreasonable Institute in 2013.
Thank you to Anderson Cooper, Dr. Milton Tectonidis and so many others for inspiring such a fantastic journey. And thank you to all the challenge participants, your efforts to get active are genuinely changing the world. Read more about impact here.
